Turkmenistan and Japan discussed tourism cooperation

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with the President of the Japan Travel Agencies Association (JATA) Kunihiko Ebina, reports the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Tokyo.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of tourism cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan.

Bayramov noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the use of international experience and achievements in improving the tourism sector, emphasizing the effective nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in this direction. A striking example of this is the annual increase in the number of Japanese tourists visiting Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the importance of experience exchange programs between Turkmen and Japanese travel companies within the framework of the Association of Travel Agencies of Japan was emphasized.
