Turkmenistan and Japan Sign Series of Agreements

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on a working visit to Tokyo to attend the first Central AsiaJapan Dialogue Summit, held a business meeting on Friday with leaders of major Japanese companies. The meeting concluded with a ceremony for the signing of several agreements, according to official Turkmen media.

The signed documents are expected to lay the foundation for expanding partnerships, introducing advanced technologies, and implementing joint projects that will further strengthen economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan.

During the meeting, President Berdimuhamedov proposed initiatives for a wastewater treatment improvement project, the construction of a modern plant for processing household and construction waste, and the development of mini-plants for recycling PET plastic bottles and household appliances.
