Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan intend to develop cooperation in the field of equestrian sports

In Astana, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Batyr Rejepov met with the head of the Republican Equestrian Federation JORYQ Bakytzhan Turlybekov. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic department.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of horse breeding and equestrian sports. The Turkmen side spoke about the creation in the country of the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev, designed to preserve the breeding purity of Ahal-Teke horses and train highly qualified specialists.

The head of the Kazakhstan Equestrian Federation expressed interest in interacting with the academy and exchanging experience. He noted the high professionalism of the federation’s trainers and the scientific support for the training of athletes.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish regular dialogue and strengthen cooperation in horse breeding and equestrian sports. This will permit Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan to effectively use the accumulated experience and achieve new successes in the international arena.
