Turkmenistan and Russia will become co-chairs of the CIS in 2025

On October 8, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in Moscow, at which a decision was made on the chairmanship of the CIS in 2025.

According to the signed document, the chairmanship will pass to the Republic of Tajikistan, and the co-chairs during this period will be Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
