Berdimyrat Amanov is appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmengas State Concern, and Merdan Roziyev - the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmengeology State Concern, Trend reports referring to the decree of Turkmenistan’s president.
Turkmenistan is one of the key suppliers of natural gas in the Caspian region, supplying it to China and Russia.
Turkmengas is developing gas and gas condensate fields, production of gas and gas condensate, processing of natural gas, transportation of gas, gas condensate and liquefied gas, selling of gas and its processed products for exports as well as domestically.
Turkmengeology conducts search for natural resources, determines their reserves and submits the data to the state fund, and prepares plans for the development of mineral resources.
