Turkmenistan approved the State Plant Protection Program for 2022-2025

The President of Turkmenistan approved the State Plant Protection Program for 2022-2025 by signing the relevant document during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country held today, announced the news program "Watan" of the Turkmen television.

Vice Prime Minister Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev reported that the Program was developed in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan "On Plant Protection" and provides for the improvement and development of methods for the protection of plants on a scientific basis plants, and the use of modern technologies and best practices, the development of international cooperation in this area.

The head of state instructed to ensure the proper implementation of the measures provided for under the State Program.Focusing on the importance of large-scale reforms carried out in the agricultural sector, designed to increase the efficiency of agricultural production, including through the widespread introduction of advanced scientific methods in this area, digital technologies, the Turkmen leader also instructed to take measures to increase crop yields and improve seed production.
