The youth teams of Russia, Tunisia, South Africa countries among others participated in a football tournament organized by Turkmenistan Consulate in Astrakhan (the Russian Federation). Student, getting higher education in the Astrakhan region, represented Turkmenistan in the tournament.
Turkmenistan Consulate Cup Football Tournament took place at the central stadium of Astrakhan. According to the results of the tournament, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, the winners and best athletes were awarded with the prizes and certificates as well as honorary titles “The Best Player”, “The Best Scorer” and “The Best Goalkeeper”.
The football cup was held in the frames of the month of physical culture and sports events traditionally held in our country with the aim to popularize the principles of a healthy lifestyle and harmonious development of the young generation in the Turkmen society.
