Turkmenistan is approaching the preparations for the Summit of Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan with the utmost responsibility

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, held in the city of Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyz Republic).

In his speech, the head of state announced the location and date of the next forum in this format.The summit is scheduled for the 8th of October, 2026, at the Avaza National tourist zone.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan is ready to host the participants of this large-scale event at a high level.Our country is approaching this significant event with the utmost responsibility and is doing everything necessary to ensure that the upcoming Summit is as productive as possible, with a high level of content and organisation, the head of state said.

The Avaza summit aims to become an effective platform for strengthening multilateral dialogue, developing regional integration, and expanding economic cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
