Turkmenistan, Italy’s Veneto Prepare For Joint Business Forum

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Italy Toyly Komekov and Director of International Relations of the Office of the Governor of Italy's Veneto Region Annalisa Bisson in an online meeting on Wednesday discussed matters related to organizing a business forum with participation of representatives of trade-economic agencies and business circles of Turkmenistan and Veneto.

The talks are a continuation of the dialogue started during the officials’ previous meeting in Veneto last November, the Turkmen Embassy in Italy said in its press release.

Cooperation in the textile sector, industry, agriculture, in particular the introduction of modern Italian technologies for production and processing of textiles, creation of infrastructure for use in the Turkmen water sector, as well as the establishment of enterprises in the refrigeration industry were identified as important areas of mutual interest and to be discussed during the business forum.

Veneto is considered one of the largest economic regions of Italy with a high standard of living. The region is well known for its creative and innovative businesses, highly developed industrial and agricultural sector, engineering, food, design and light industry.
