Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan Exports Oil Supplies Through Baku

The total volume of oil transit from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline increased by 6.7 per cent in January-September 2023.

The share of transit oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan was 3.82 million tonnes or 16.9 percent of the total volume of pumping, Interfax-Azerbaijan reported on Friday, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, the volume of oil pumping through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline amounted to 22.66 million tonnes, which is 4.5 percent higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year.

In January-July this year, the total volume of oil transit from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan through the terminals of Azerbaijan amounted to 2.9 million metric tonnes.
