The website Arzuw with reference to the newspaper “Neitralny Turkmenistan” reports that about 100 thousand computers have been produced in Turkmenistan.
The news outlet reports that Chinese manufacturers, providing counseling services to Turkmen colleagues emphasized high reliability and efficiency of the device designed by Turkmen researchers.
The news outlet, however, does not specify whether these computers were completely designed by Turkmen scientists or Turkmenistan assembles laptops based on designs by Chinese companies.
Moreover, it is reported that the manufacturing of rubber footwear was launched in Turkmenistan. For instance, on a daily basis 1000 pairs of rubber shoes and 1 500 pairs of summer shoes are manufactured.
In the future the company intends to manufacture rubber shoes with the national ornament and to export its products, according to Arzuw.
