Turkmenistan participates in the international forum Commonwealth of Fashion in St. Petersburg

Representatives of Turkmenistan are taking part in the III International Forum Commonwealth of Fashion, which is being held in the Tauride Palace in St. Petersburg on November 19-20.

The forum brought together more than 1,500 representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The Republic of Angola is taking part in the forum for the first time.

As reported on the website, the forum presents the achievements of the regions of Russia and the CIS countries in the light industry, and demonstrates collections of famous and emerging designers.

The forum program included plenary sessions, round tables and thematic exhibitions. In addition, about 20 agreements between industry associations and enterprises will be signed on the sidelines of the forum.

Turkmenistan, known for its rich traditions of textile production, presented its unique national costumes at the forum.
