A new Airbus A330-200P2F cargo plane has joined the fleet of the Turkmen national air carrier Turkmenistan airlines. This is the first of two vessels that arrived under a contract between Turkmen Airlines and a European manufacturer. Earlier, Turkmenistan mainly purchased cargo planes of the American company Boeing.

The aircraft with Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines has a payload capacity of up to 60 tons with a flight range of up to 13.4 thousand kilometers. This is the first aircraft from a European manufacturer in the country's aviation fleet.

Aircraft maintenance and flight maintenance specialists are trained in Singapore and France.
