The plants indicated in Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s "Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan" book, the directions of their processing, and the possibility of production of medicines in Turkmenistan are studied on a scientific basis, said Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nurmuhammet Amannepesov at the meeting on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the National Leader of Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Vice Prime Minister noted that all medicinal plants of Turkmenistan are studied scientifically, as well as their ecological level and medicinal characteristics, which opens up prospects for the production of medicines essential in medicine from local raw materials.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan has called for doctors and scientists to conduct essential research into the production of medicines and medical products, in the pursuit of sourcing ecologically pure products from local raw materials.
He further stressed the importance of producing these products to the highest quality standards, mentioning that injections made of polyethylene and polypropylene, which are widely used in medical institutions, have great potential.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed confidence that the production of these products would meet the needs of the Turkmen people, and get exported.
