Turkmenistan’s President Meets With Senior U.S. Officials

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met Friday with U.S. Special Envoy Sergio Gor and U.S. Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll, according to the state news program Watan habarlary.

The talks focused on cooperation in political, diplomatic, economic and humanitarian areas, the report said.

Both sides expressed interest in expanding constructive dialogue on issues of mutual interest and voiced confidence in the continued, steady development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the United States.
