Turkmenistan’s Ýeňiş Factory Produces Garments Worth Over 19.5 Million Manats

Ýeňiş sewing factory of Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan has produced more than 19.5 million manats worth of textile products since the beginning of 2022, Turkmenistan’s Watan Habarlary news program reported on Tuesday.

The plant, located in Turkmenistan’s Mary velayat, obtains raw materials for the production from Ruhabat and Turkmenbashi textile complexes, and Turkmenabat Silk Production Association. The production workshops of the plant are equipped with modern machinery from leading companies in Russia, China, Germany and Japan, according to the report.

Currently, on the eve of the new school year, the factory produces white shirts for schoolchildren, as well as sets of clothing for labor lessons.

Along with adult and children's clothing, the enterprise also produces trousers and shirts for the military on special orders.

The Ýeňiş sewing factory, established in 1992, employs about 335 employees. The factory consists of a number of workshops, including sewing, ironing and packing workshops. The factory offers its products to consumers through specialized and online stores.
