SCRMET Deals Exceed 27 Million Manats on Thursday

Trading turnover at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) exceeded 27.09 million manats on Thursday, SCRMET said.

For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased petroleum coke and cotton yarn.

Representatives of business circles from Afghanistan and Georgia bought grade B urea and cotton fiber for a total of $1.91 million.

Founded in 1994, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) is the country’s main body regulating export and import operations.
