Turkmenistan Sends Humanitarian Aid to Children in Ukraine

Turkmenistan sent humanitarian aid for the children in Ukraine on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship on Wednesday, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported in its press release.

According to the report, the humanitarian aid sent to Ukraine consists of medicines, medical equipment, textiles and food products.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree to send humanitarian aid for the children in Ukraine on March 13.

The decree to send humanitarian aid for the children in Ukraine was adopted based on the long-standing good relations and humanitarian traditions of Turkmen people.

On February 10, on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund, Turkmenistan has sent additional humanitarian aid to the people in Türkiye affected by the devastating earthquake on February 6.
