Turkmenistan to Send Humanitarian Aid to Children in Ukraine

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree on sending humanitarian aid for the children in Ukraine in March on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

The decree to send humanitarian aid for the children in Ukraine was adopted based on the long-standing good relations and humanitarian traditions of Turkmen people, the official Turkmen media reported on Monday.

According to the document, Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry, Ministry of Textile Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan were instructed to provide free medical and healthcare products, goods and food products to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.

On February 10, on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund, Turkmenistan has sent additional humanitarian aid to the people in Türkiye affected by the devastating earthquake on February 6.
