Turkmenistan Takes Chair at Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Leaders

Turkmenistan will make every effort to strengthen unity, cohesion, and economic partnership in Central Asia.This was stated by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia held in Tashkent on 16 November, as he accepted the chairmanship of this high-level political event on behalf of his country from the Republic of Uzbekistan.

“By assuming the chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, Turkmenistan will make every effort to strengthen our unity, cohesion, and economic partnership, to enhance the region’s attractiveness for major foreign investments, and to implement large-scale international projects in energy, transport, communications, and other sectors,” assured the President of Turkmenistan.
