Turkmenistan takes part in the international exhibition in Doha

The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mergen Gurdov, is taking part in the international horticultural exhibition EXPO 2023, which opened on October 2 in the capital of Qatar, Doha, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

As part of the exhibition, held under the motto “Green nature for the environment,” the national pavilion of Turkmenistan was opened.The pavilion presents samples of Turkmen flora and fauna, as well as the achievements of the Turkmen horticultural industry.

The opening ceremony of the international exhibition was attended by heads of several states and governments, and heads of high-ranking delegations.

Prime Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in his speech noted that the exhibition creates positive opportunities for expanding international cooperation in the field of horticulture and environmental protection.

EXPO 2023 will be held in Doha until March 28, 2024. More than 190 countries and international organizations take part in it.
