Turkmenistan, Tatarstan to Hold Joint Working Group Meeting in Ashgabat

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a Cabinet of Ministers meeting via digital system, addressing a range of national issues.

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan H.Geldimyradov reported on preparations for the upcoming session of the

Turkmen-Tatarstan Joint Working Group on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat in November.

The agenda includes further expanding cooperation in trade and economic relations, the oil and gas sector, energy and industry, transport, communications and information technology, the textile industry, agriculture and environmental protection, science, education, healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, culture, sports, and youth policy.

The Deputy Chairman submitted a draft resolution for the President’s consideration.

President Berdimuhamedov highlighted Turkmenistan’s productive relations with the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. To further develop the established bilateral cooperation, he signed the relevant resolution and instructed the Deputy Chairman to take the necessary measures for its implementation.
