Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annaev reported on the progress of preparations for the upcoming innovative project competition Digital Solution 2026 during a regular online Cabinet meeting on Friday, Turkmen state media reported on Friday.
According to the report, the aim of the competition is to identify young people engaged in software development and innovative activities.The event will be held in seven categories, including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Automation, Digital Medicine, Education and E-learning, Smart City, Smart Agricultural Technologies, and Service Systems.
The results are scheduled to be announced as part of the international exhibition and scientific conference Türkmentel 2026.
The projects presented in the competition are planned to be further used in the implementation of the digital economy, as well as in production cycles across various sectors. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the relevant proposal to the Head of state.
After hearing the report, the Head of State noted that systematic work is being carried out in the country to develop the digital economy, and that young people are actively participating in innovation project competitions in this field.
Approving the proposal to announce the Digital Solution 2026 competition, the President instructed the Deputy prime minister to carry out the necessary preparatory work.
The Cabinet meeting also reviewed several other state issues and adopted corresponding decisions.
