Turkmenistan to Restore International Transport Links

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online government meeting on Saturday instructed Mammethan Chakiyev, the General Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Turkmen Cabinet of Ministers, to restore transport links of Turkmenistan with other countries in the near future.

The Head of State said with the improvement of the global situation related to the coronavirus pandemic, many countries are opening routes for international transportation, the official Turkmen media reports.

In this regard, the Turkmen President instructed the Head of the Agency to carry out relevant work to restore international transportation in the near future and report on their results.

The government meeting also considered other issues, and adopted a number of documents and necessary decisions aimed at the development of the industries.
