Mammethan Chakiyev: Turkmenistan Invites Foreign Investors to Partnership

Turkmenistan is ready to consider specific investment proposals from foreign partners, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakiyev said at the Türkmentel 2025 international exhibition and scientific conference in Ashgabat on Wednesday, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.

Chakiyev said that projects will be implemented on a mutually beneficial and equitable basis as part of Turkmenistan’s “open-door” policy.

Highlighting Turkmenistan’s transit and transport potential, Chakiyev noted that the country, due to its favorable geo-economic location, is actively developing new infrastructure along the EastWest and NorthSouth routes. These projects, he said, create significant opportunities to strengthen international trade and economic cooperation across the Eurasian region.

The deputy prime minister also emphasized the country’s focus on digital economic development. He said Turkmenistan prioritizes the implementation of the “Electronic Government” system, the advancement of artificial intelligence and cloud technologies, the training of highly qualified specialists, and the integration of innovative solutions into the national telecommunications network.

The Türkmentel 2025 international exhibition and scientific conference will run through November 14, 2025.
