As informs today’s newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, on the 16th of December the delegation from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Turkmenistan took part in the first online conference of the heads of the National Development Funds of the Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
The perspective of creation of Sovereign Wealth and Development Fund (NDF) Networks in order to facilitate technical cooperation, information exchange, support of favorable investment environment and strengthening of economic growth in the region of ECO was put on the agenda.
As it was marked during the meeting, Turkmenistan places a high priority on partnership with ECO states on priority economic issues.
Sustainable development of regions of the country, activation of integration processes, execution of important infrastructure projects requires the search of new optimal forms and mechanisms of interaction. It arises from more detailed study of the prospects for the creation of the SWDF Network and the subsequent use of means from the Funds, considering modern realities, national and common interests.
