Turkmenistan, Türkiýe Discuss Priorities for Migration Cooperation

Officials from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan met Thursday with Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok to discuss prospects and opportunities for Turkmen-Türkiýe cooperation in the migration sector. The sides identified key areas and priorities for further collaboration.

According to the State Migration Service, the meeting highlighted that bilateral relations have gained new momentum in recent years, with the Turkmen-Türkiýe partnership developing on a systematic and regular basis.

The participants expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of migration cooperation and exchanged mutual wishes for success in implementing joint initiatives.

The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan is a government body responsible for regulating the country’s migration system, implementing state policy in the migration sector, and ensuring Turkmenistan’s compliance with international migration obligations.
