Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan Trade Nears $60 Million in January 2024

Trade between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan reached $59.8 million in January 2024, according to a report from the State Committee of Statistics of Uzbekistan published on Tuesday.

During this reporting period, Uzbekistan imported Turkmen goods amounting to $54.6 million, while its exports to Turkmenistan totaled $5.2 million.

The overall foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan for the corresponding period amounted to $4.2 billion, showing a decrease of $870.1 million, or 17.2%, compared to the same period in 2023.

In 2023, the trade volume between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan amounted to $1 billion and $94.4 million.
