Today, participants of the creative event starting on October 17 the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF) in Turkmenistan are arriving in Ashgabat. The representative delegation of a friendly country is headed by the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan.
The creative force included leading soloists of the Republic, the State Folk Music Ensemble, the Premier group, as well as directors, photographers and leading masters of folk arts and crafts.
The opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan will be held on October 17 at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
At 16:00, an exhibition of decorative and applied arts and souvenirs, exclusive author's works of leading masters of folk arts and crafts of Tatarstan will be solemnly opened here. The exhibition will also include photographs of UNESCO sites of the Republic of Tatarstan.
At 18:00 a concert of Tatarstan art masters will take place on the stage of the Mukams Palace.
Artists from a friendly country will also perform on October 18 at the State Drama Theater of Mary velayat named after Kemine. The concert will start at 15:00.
On October 18, a round table on the topic “Preservation, revival and development of folk arts and crafts” will be held in Ashgabat at the Museum of Fine Arts.
Film lovers are welcome at the “Ashgabat” cinema center, where on October 18 will be a meeting of filmmakers from the two countries and screenings of modern Tatarstan films.
At 15:30 the demonstration of the film “Ibn Fadlan” will begin, filmed in 2022 based on the travel notes of the Arab diplomat Ahmed ibn Fadlan.
At 17:30, viewers will be presented with the feature-length feature film “Tarlan”, based on the work “Almachuar” by the classic of Tatar literature Galimdzhan Ibragimov. This film became the first joint project between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.
On October 19 at 16:00, film screenings will continue with a feature film - the family drama “Isenmesez” (“Are You Alive?”).
The Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan will end on October 19 at 17:00 at the Mukams Palace with a concert of friendship between artists of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan.
A cultural program has been prepared for guests, including an introduction to museum exhibits and other attractions of the Turkmen capital.
