Turkmenistan will begin reconstruction of the Garabogaz customs post in January

Turkmenistan will begin reconstruction of the Garabogaz customs post on the Turkmen-Kazakh border in early January 2024, reports the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

The goal of the project is to expand the territory and increase the capacity of the customs post.

As part of the reconstruction, it is planned to refurbish the administrative building and install new X-ray machines for vehicle inspection. The work should be completed by the end of 2024.
