Turkmenistan will host celebrations on the occasion of International Children's Day

Turkmenistan is preparing for celebrations on the occasion of International Children's Day, widely celebrated in the country on June 1 every year.

As Deputy Prime Minister M. Mammedova reported at the Government meeting, in honor of the holiday it is planned to hold a number of creative events, in particular song, music and cultural events, competitions, and conferences.

Circus performances will be organized at the State Circus of Turkmenistan and the State Equestrian Circus named after Georogly in the city of Arkadag.

Performances will be held at the Turkmen State Puppet Theater, and various films and cartoons will be shown at cinema and concert centers.

A festive concert of a symphony orchestra and a united children's choir is planned at the Mukams Palace.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the organized celebrations and cultural events in the country dedicated to this holiday, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
