Turkmenistan will host the II English Language Olympiad among schoolchildren

D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages will hold the II Olympiad in English among students of grades 9-11 of secondary schools in Turkmenistan.

The purpose of the intellectual competition is to strengthen and improve the theoretical and practical knowledge of schoolchildren, as well as increase their interest in learning English.

The Olympics will be held remotely. Heads of the country's schools will have to submit applications with a list of students wishing to take part in the Olympiad to the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad by February 24 at patrioticyouthtniwl@gmail.com.

The first round will be held on February 26 in the form of writing an essay in English. The topic of the essay will be announced on the institute’s website at 14:00 on the day of the tour. Participants will be given 3 hours to write an essay and send it by email to the Organizing Committee.

On March 20, the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages website datmddi.edu.tm will announce the results and the list of those who qualified for the second round, which will be held on March 30 in the form of testing. It is planned to be held at the institute using the Digital Education Portal.

The winners of the Olympiad will receive special diplomas from the institute, and the teachers who prepared them will receive certificates of honor.
