Turkmenistan will propose the creation of an International trade logistics centre and a new transport corridor

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where deputy-prime and Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov reported on the priority positions of Turkmenistan at the upcoming 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

During the 81st session, our country will propose considering the possibility of establishing an International centre for sustainable trade logistics and customs cooperation in Turkmenistan under the auspices of the UN.

In addition, Turkmenistan will put forward an initiative to form a transregional transport corridor under the auspices of the UN.The project aims to connect South and Central Asia with Europe via the Caspian sea.
