Turkmenistan will take part in a major maritime forum in India

The delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in the third Global Maritime India Summit, which will be held in October in Mumbai, CentralAsia.news reports citing the information service of the Indian government.

The forum will discuss issues of decarbonization of maritime transport, development of port infrastructure, shipbuilding, financing of the maritime industry and improving its safety.

The Turkmen delegation will join ministers from other states at the opening of the summit to exchange views on current topics. In addition to officials, over 80 experts from 27 countries will take part in the forum.

The participants intend to discuss opportunities for expanding investments and sign several agreements on cooperation in the field of maritime activities. India looks forward to holding a fruitful dialogue on issues relevant to the region in the development of the maritime industry.
