The technology and education show or “Robofest” brought together the youth of Ashgabat, who are passionate about robotics, on one platform.
“Robofest” was held in the form of competitions in robotics for two days on the basis of the Specialized secondary school № 87. The event was attended by students of schools № 87 and № 97, students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, students of military schools, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

In the nomination “Japanese sumo” the first place was taken by Ahmetyar Charyev, a cadet of the Specialized military school № 1 named after Berdimuhamed Annayev.
In the nomination “Labyrinth” the championship was awarded to a student of the Specialized secondary school No. 87 Mahir Jovadov.
In the “Group design” won the students of IOGU.
Exhibitions of creative works, a fair of national cuisine dishes, stands dedicated to the subjects of the school curriculum - chemistry, biology, computer technology were organized at the site of the “Robofest”.
Robotics competitions were timed to coincide with the 27th anniversary of the neutrality of Turkmenistan and were held with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the “Dana” educational center and Specialized secondary school № 87.
