U.S. Under Secretary to Visit Turkmenistan During Regional Tour

U.S. Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Sarah B. Rogers will visit Turkmenistan as part of an official trip to South and Central Asia from May 27 to June 10, 2026.

The trip will also include visits to India, Nepal and Uzbekistan, the U.S. Department of State reported.

According to the State Department, the visit marks Rogers’ first major trip to Central Asia since being sworn in on October 10, 2025.

Rogers leads the Department’s efforts to engage foreign audiences, oversees educational and cultural exchanges, and advances U.S. public diplomacy objectives.
