UAE and Kazakhstan Business Buys $9.62M Polypropylene in Turkmenistan

At the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) auction on Friday, transactions totaling $9.62 million were concluded, as reported by SCRMET.

Representatives from the business communities of the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan made purchases using foreign currency, acquiring polypropylene TPP D 382 BF from the“Türkmennebit” (Turkmen Oil) State Concern

Local entrepreneurs secured transactions for viscous petroleum road bitumen and handmade Turkmen carpets for the domestic market, totaling 2,517,996.83 manats.

The previous week witnessed transactions exceeding $28.6 million at the SCRMET auction.

Established in 1994, SCRMET plays a pivotal role in regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
