Usain Bolt patents his signature winning pose

The world's fastest man, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, has filed for a trademark logo featuring his famous “winning pose”. In accordance with the filed application with the US Patent and Trademark Office, the athlete plans to use the logo on clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and also during events, reports secretmag.ru.

The description of the logo design says: “The silhouette of a man in a distinctive pose, with one arm bent and pointing to the head, and the other raised and pointing upward.” It was this pose that the athlete took when he won the competition and it became his signature pose of the winner. 12 years ago, the sprinter had already filed a similar application, but since he did not use the patent, the permission was withdrawn.

Jamaican sprinter Usain St. Leo Bolt is an eight-time Olympic champion and 11-time world champion. During the performances, the athlete set eight world records.
