1.Veterans of the Great Patriotic War in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory will receive cash payments in the amount of 200 manats and valuable gifts in Turkmenistan.
The corresponding Decree was signed on May 3 by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.The document instructs the hyakimliks of velayats, cities and etraps to present gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan in a solemn atmosphere.
2.OJSC “Russian Railways” offered Turkmenistan a project of a regional passenger train express on the route Arkadag - Ashgabat with a speed of up to 140 km/h.
This was announced by Sergey Pavlov, First Deputy General Director of Russian Railways, who arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in the international transport and transit conference.According to Pavlov, at present time, as a pilot project between Russian Railways and Turkmen colleagues, a joint modernization of the car repair plant in Gyzylarbat has been carried out.
In addition, the Russian side offers Turkmenistan several electrification projects and the development of a regional passenger rail express.
3.Subscription for the second half of 2023 to the paper version of the “Arkadag” newspaper is open in all branches of “Turkmenpost”.The cost of a subscription to a printed edition of the newspaper for a period of 6 months is 7 manats 80 tenge.

4.On May 25, the regular swimming season begins in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, and at present time, preparatory work for summer holidays at sea is being completed here.

6.Scientists from the University of Michigan have developed a new system that permits you to turn almost any surface into a touch screen using sound waves.The technology is made possible by the Voice Pickup Units microphone complex.
When touched on the surface of the object on which they are located, they register the generated sound waves.Such a system can function in an environment with high noise pollution and on almost all types of surfaces, including toys, furniture, parts of the human body.
7. Belarusian engineers will help colleagues from Brazil create their own folk tractor. According to Belarusian Ambassador to Brazil Sergei Lukashevich, work is already underway in Brazil to build assembly shops for the production of Belarusian MTZ tractors.
