Violin and piano duet: week of chamber music at the Turkmen Conservatory

The final concert ended the week of the department of chamber ensemble and concert performance, held at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Mai Kuliyeva.

Every day young musicians performed works of famous Turkmen and European composers. The final concert dedicated to the work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was timed to coincide with the 265th birthday of the brilliant Austrian composer.

The chamber ensemble is a joint team play, it is of great importance for the practice of young musicians.Students learn to play in pairs sonatas for violin and piano, trios, quartets, accompanying soloists.

Every year we give more than ten concerts, hold open lessons and master classes, travel around the country, provide educational and methodical assistance to regional musical educational institutions, says the head of the department of chamber ensemble and concert performance, senior teacher Maral Agaeva.

A great enthusiast and teacher devoted to her profession, Maral Bayramovna has invaluable work experience. As a professor at the Beijing University of Music, she taught chamber ensemble to students in China for 10 years. All her pupils have successfully entered and are entering the best music universities in the world, and always speak with gratitude about their teacher.

The founder of the Department of Chamber Ensemble and Accompaniment Mastery in Turkmenistan was Tatiana Aleksandrovna Vetrinskaya. Today her work is continued by teachers Maral Agaeva, Igor Dzhorakulov, Svetlana Kasparova, Svetlana Kim and many others.

Vocalist Bakhar Durdyeva speaks with great gratitude about cooperation with the department.During the concert week, she also performed with Dzheren Kurbanklycheva’s song “Remembering You”, accompanied by the students of the accompanist department.

There are a lot of talented and promising students at the Turkmen National Conservatory.The final concert of the week of chamber music is a worthy confirmation of this.
