WHO experts to visit coronavirus-free Turkmenistan

Next week the experts of the World Health Organizations (WHO) are scheduled to visit Turkmenistan and Tajikistan which, according to official reports, have not recorded any confirmed coronavirus cases, Kommersant reports with reference to TASS.

The previous day Turkmenistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry hosted a briefing with representatives of international organizations, in the course of which the officials reported about the measured undertaken by the authorities to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov refuted accusations of hiding information about confirmed coronavirus COVID-19 cases and invited the meeting participants to visit the quarantine.
