Women and girls of Turkmenistan will receive cash gifts by March 8

Cash gifts will be given to the fair sex in Turkmenistan on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8. The corresponding Order was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, TDH reports.

According to the document, cash gifts in the amount of 60 manats on behalf of the head of state will be given to women working in enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, as well as those receiving pensions and state benefits, studying in graduate school, doctoral studies and clinical residency outside of work, students of courses at the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan with a period of study of at least two years, students, schoolgirls and pupils of preschool institutions.

Traditionally, cash gifts in honor of March 8 will be presented in a solemn ceremony from March 1 to March 6.
