Considering the great merits of our women in carrying out transformations for the sake of prosperity of the country, in raising a devoted, healthy and inspired generation, in order to continue the noble traditions of their ancestors in honouring beloved mothers and dear sisters in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, as well as the implementation of the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated 27th of February, 2019 № 1152 On presenting monetary gifts to the women of our country on the occasion of International Women's Day, the President of Turkmenistan signed an Order.
The document prescribes that in the period from the 2nd to 6th of March, 2026, on the occasion of International Women's Day, monetary gifts in the amount of 60 (sixty) manats should be presented in a solemn atmosphere on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to women and girls working at enterprises, institutions and organisations, regardless of their form of ownership, as well as those receiving pensions and state benefits, studying at postgraduate and doctoral studies, on-the-job clinical residency, students of the The Academy of the government service under the President of Turkmenistan with a training period of at least two years, to students, schoolgirls and pupils of preschool institutions.
