Workers cut a hole in the Great Wall of China to cut their way to work

Two Chinese, a man and a woman, made a hole in the Great Wall of China in the Shanxi province, writes the MIR 24 portal.

Using an excavator, Zheng, 38, and Wang, 55, made a passage through one of the modern wonders of the world to shorten their way to work. They worked at a construction site near the Great Wall of China, but to get to work, they had to make a long detour every day.

A man and a woman were detained, they are charged with the destruction of a cultural relic. It is emphasized that their actions caused irreparable damage to the historical structure.
