World’s Largest Office Opens in India

India has presented the world with a unique architectural project the Surat Diamond Exchange, which has become the largest office complex in the world, gazeta.ru reports with reference to Oddity Central.

The complex unites nine interconnected buildings and extends over more than 35 acres, surpassing the Pentagon in area. The total area of the complex is more than 7 million square meters and includes about 4,700 offices and workshops.

The architectural company Morphogenesis approached the project with a special philosophy to create not just a large building, but a functional space that best meets the needs of the local business community. The cost of the project reached 388 million dollars.

The office complex, designed for 65 000 employees, is equipped with 131 elevators to ensure prompt movement around the building.
