On January 4, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held the first video conference working session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the capital and regions in 2021, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan Home of Peace and Trust”.
The agenda of the session included further social and economic development of the country, realization of fundamental reforms in agricultural complex, construction of facilities, which opening is timed to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence.
The program of events planned to be conducted in honor of the slogan of this year has also been reviewed.
First, the President of Turkmenistan has called the Head of Ashgabat’s administration Ya. Gylyjov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev who supervises the capital.
The head of the capital’s administration has reported to the President of the country about work of relative services for provision of proper functioning of the heating system in cold winter days as well as on the rates of construction of various facilities, which opening is timed to the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Having listened to the report, the Leader of the Nation focused the attention of the Vice-premier and head of the administration on issues of operational conditions of heating systems in houses, schools, kindergartens as well as on provision of electricity in the capital, having given certain instructions in this regard.
Relative officials have been requested to hold the quality and timely completion of works at new construction sites of Ashgabat, which are planned to be opened on occasion of the anniversary date, under strict control.
At the same time, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Ovezov has been called to the video conference session. The Vice-premier has reported on fulfilment of the assignments given by the Head of the State earlier on development of transport and communication sphere.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has requested to introduce advanced digital technologies to transport and communication spheres actively.
Further, Head of Ahal Region Ya. Gurbanov has reported on seasonal field works, measures for improvement of social and life level of the population, successful organization of spring sowing campaign and provision of livestock hibernation.
After, the Head of Balkan Region T. Atahalliyev has reported on the measures undertaken in the western region of the country for development of agricultural sector, integrated preparation of land and equipment to spring sowing as well as on improvement of social and life level of the population.
The working session has been continued with the report of the Head of Dashoguz Region N. Nazarmyradov, who reported on the situation in the region, works carried out at the fields according to agricultural standards, preparation of equipment to spring sowing, measures for provision of the livestock hibernation.
Video conference working session has been continued with the report of the Head of Lebap Region Sh. Amangeldiyev, who reported on work carried out in the region, measures for preparation of land and agricultural equipment to sowing season.
In his turn, Head of Mary Region D. Annaberdiyev has reported on the situation in the region, in particular on seasonal agricultural works, care of winter crops according to agricultural standards, preparation of land and equipment, which would be used in sowing campaign.
Having listened to the reports of the heads of the regions, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused that provision of happy and prosperous life of the nation remains an important government objective this year, having noted that issues of social provision of the population have to be under permanent attention of the regional administration.
The heads of the region and capital have been requested to hold uninterrupted heating supply of houses, schools, kindergartens as well as provision of the population of districts, cities and settlements with drinking water, electricity and gas under strict control.
The Head of the State has pointed out the importance of sanitization of all schools taking into account current winter holidays.
Speaking of the importance of timely completion of seasonal agricultural works, the Head of Turkmenistan has requested to pay special attention to soil and climate conditions during cultivation of agricultural crops, to development national farming traditions, which have to be harmonically combined with achievements of modern science, having addressed the heads of the regions with relative instructions.
The Leader of the Nation has also given instructions for cultivation of various agricultural crops this year. All agricultural equipment and tools, which would be used in the cotton sowing, have to be prepared for the coming campaign, the Head of the State noted.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has also given instructions for timely and qualitative completion of works planned to be carried out in the regions in 2021, which are specified in the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for social and economic development of the country in 2019 2025 and in National rural program.
Relative instructions have been given to Vice-premiers Sh. Durdiliyev and B. Ovezov.
Separate instruction have been given for provision of high organizational level of events planned to be conducted in the year, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan Home of Peace and Trust”.
In addition, the instructions for proper preparation to the coming extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers on results of the last year have been given.
Further, addressing Vice-premiers Sh. Durdiliyev and B. Ovezov, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has asked about realization of international projects including the projects aimed at provision of social and economic restoration of Afghanistan as well as at increment of export of power energy from Turkmenistan to the neighboring country on beneficial terms.
It has been mentioned that works for construction of international fiber optic and transit lines in Ymamnazar Akina and Serhetabat Turgundy directions are carried out successfully.These works give opportunity to lay another line together with Afghanistan Communication Company and to provide its operation in circular system, having connected with Herat Akina line.
It will allow entering communication systems of Pakistan, India and other countries through Afghanistan, increasing cooperation in communication sphere and expanding informational horizon of our country.
For this purpose, relative communication equipment has been installed at Mary Serhetabat line, Ymamnazar Akina and Serhetabat Turgundy international fiber optic communication lines are ready to be put into operation. In addition, the construction works have been accomplished 26 out of 33 flood channels, which were planned to be built along Akina Andhoy railway, have been accomplished.
In this regard, Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has addressed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R. Meredov and Vice-premiers M. Meredov, B. Ovezov and Sh. Durdiliyev.
The President of Turkmenistan has stated that our independent country has expanded and strengthened its relations with other including neighboring states and these works would be continued in the future. The Leader of the Nation has made special mention of the importance and future of international projects under cooperation with other countries.
The Head of the State has focused on the facilities, which were built and are ready to be put into operation and which would be used in relative directions in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
In particular, gas compressor station at Malay Gas Field in Lebar Region, Akina Andhoy railway line, Ymamnazar Akina fiber optic communication system and Serhetabat Turgundy fiber optic line in Mary Region, powerlines from Kerky power station to Turkmen Afghan border have been mentioned.
Having noted that opening of these facilities will support strengthening of international relations of Turkmenistan with the neighboring state, improvement of life of Afghan people and peoples of countries of the region, Turkmen leader highlighted that it would be also very importance in steadfast realization of the State Program of industrialization of the country until 2030.
Being committed to selected peace-loving foreign course, neutral Turkmenistan plays the role of generator of new ideas required by the time more actively demonstrating the commitment to contractual obligations concluded with partner countries including with the People’s Republic of China.
During video conference working session, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has addressed the Vice-premier, Foreign Minister R. Meredov with assignments related to the working visit to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, preparation to and conducting of consultations with between the foreign ministries of two countries.
The President of Turkmenistan has focused on the importance of international events planned in near-term future as well as on commissioning of the facilities on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence.
The Head of the State highlighted the importance of the Resolution “2021- International Year of Peace and Trust”, which was adopted at the initiative of independent neutral Turkmenistan at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In this regard, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has addressed Vice-premiers Sh. Durdiliyev, B. Ovezov and M. Meredov with relative instruction on provision of high level of events on occasion of the opening of planned facilities, which would be a good example of strengthening of fruitful cooperation with neighboring states in the region.
In this regard, the Leader of the Nation has said that successful solution of set objectives is a sacred duty for each citizen of Turkmenistan, having highlighted that it is necessary to work hard.
Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has wished strong health, family wealth, success in work, which is aimed at further economic growth of the country, provision of happy and prosperous life of people in the epoch of might and happiness, in 2021, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan Home of Peace and Trust”, to all participants.
