During the 12th meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation, the deputies considered bills "On approval and implementation of the Code of Administrative Procedure of Turkmenistan", "On Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan", "On consular service".
As noted, the main tasks of these documents are to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, as well as to contribute to the further democratization of society and the observance of state interests.
The deputies also considered draft laws "On Amendments to the Civil Procedure Code of Turkmenistan", "On Revocation of the Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan", “On the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan"," On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of Turkmenistan", "On Amendments to the Law Turkmenistan "On currency regulation and control in foreign economic relations", "On amendments to the Tax Code of Turkmenistan", "On amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan "On denationalization and privatization of state property", "On amendments to the Code of Turkmenistan "On Land", "On Amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan "On Migration Service", "On Amendments to the Election Code of Turkmenistan", "On Amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan "On Local Representative Bodies of State Power".
Moreover, the deputies considered the draft Resolutions of the Mejlis "On accession to the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity", "On the ratification of the Agreement between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation on cooperation in security", "On accession to the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures".
The draft legislative acts submitted for consideration by parliamentarians were unanimously approved and adopted.
