A branch of the Yunus Emre Institute may be opened in Ashgabat

Türkiye plans to open a branch of the Yunus Emre Institute in Ashgabat. Ambassador Ahmet Demirok stated this during the presentation of the Tourism Week of the Turkish Republic in Ashgabat, Turkmenportal correspondent reports.

The diplomat noted that Türkiye observes great interest of Turkmen citizens in Turkish music, TV series, films and culture in general.

In addition, the ambassador said that Türkiye intends to intensify work on cultural cooperation with Turkmenistan. According to him, Ankara will continue relevant efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture and tourism.

The opening of a branch of the Yunus Emre Institute in Ashgabat will be an important step in the further development of cultural ties between Türkiye and Turkmenistan, as well as provide more opportunities for Turkmen citizens to get acquainted with the culture, language and traditions of Türkiye.
