A concert-dedication to Magtymguly Fragi took place in Ashgabat

Tonight, a concert was held at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, the program of which was musical dedications to the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi.

The concert was opened by the literary and musical composition "Turkmenin".The well-known work of the poet was presented by artists of the theaters of the country.

With the musical accompaniment of the State Symphony Orchestra and the State Choir of Turkmenistan, it sounded the anthem of the Fatherland, the freedom and prosperity of which were the dreams and aspirations of Magtymguly Fragi.

Then, under the vaults of the magnificent hall, the well-known poems of the poet, set to music by Turkmen classical and modern composers, sounded.

Spectators warmly welcomed the performance of bagshy, popular vocalists of the country. The artistic reading of the poetic works of the Turkmen classic was organically combined with the musical accompaniment of the State Symphony Orchestra.

One of the brightest numbers of the concert program was the works of Nury Halmamedov from the film "Magtymguly", including the dance "Kushtdepdi", performed by the symphony orchestra, choir and folklore group "Lachyn".

The concert ended with a symphonic poem by our contemporary composer Suhan Tuyliev "Turkmen binasy", performed by soloists, orchestra and choir.

The current creative evening was prepared by the artists for the Culture Week 2023 taking place in Ashgabat, dedicating it to the holiday celebrated tomorrow, June 27, the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.
