A delegation of the Turkic Academy will visit Turkmenistan in March

In Astana, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Batyr Rejepov and the head of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic department.

The head of the Turkic Academy announced his intention to send a delegation to participate in the opening ceremony of the year “Anau - the cultural capital of the Turkic world - 2024”, which will be held in Turkmenistan on March 26.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan informed the interlocutor that in 2024 Turkmenistan will host two international forums in the field of culture dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen classic poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi.

In particular, an International Conference will be held in May, which will bring together ministers of culture, and a Summit of Heads of Government and State is planned in the fall.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on further strengthening cultural dialogue and cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Turkic Academy.
